My name is JJ and I am a survivor!
I don’t really like to share my story with people I don’t know yet. I’m kinda shy, but so wanting to be close to, and have a family. It takes me awhile to warm up, but once I do, I’ll meet you at the door everyday, I’ll grab toys and bring them to you and I’ll snuggle any time of the day.
I get a little protective over my sticks and toys, but that’s only because I went so long without anything of my own. I’m still learning to play and it would make me happy if someone had the time to teach me and be patient.
It took me awhile to get here, but I’m ready for the best part of my life - with you!

Hey there, my name is Cupcake and I want to go home with you!
All of my brothers and sisters and I are very cute and playful, but I’m the smartest (I’ve almost potty trained myself!). I’ve been very sweet and inquisitive since I first opened my eyes, and I’m so happy everyday I get to learn something new! I love exploring and would really like to be someone’s adventure buddy, as long as we get to cuddle on the couch at the end of the day. Introducing Blanche!
Blanche was part of the Golden Girls crew that came to BFP from an animal testing facility.
Initially shy and tentative with her affection, her favorite things, now, are the spot on the couch next to her foster dad, the delicious treats given to her by her foster mom, and the toys shared by her furry foster siblings.
Blanche is enjoying her new life of freedom, and her next favorite thing will be a life of bliss in her new forever home! read more

When I was caged in the laboratory, I imagined the life I would have one day: my very own bed in my very own home with my very own person who would love me! We’d be a team, me and my Watson! Sure, we’d solve some elementary mysteries along the way, but mostly we’d share good meals, explore our ‘hood on long walks, and play and hang out with each other.

You could say I'm making up for lost time. I spent the first few years of my young life in a tiny cage in an animal testing facility, yearning for the smallest bit of affection. I was so alone, afraid, and in pain. Known only by the number they tattooed inside my ear. But never again.
