Peng Peng is a stunning two year old Standard Poodle who was rescued from an illegal breeder about to be sold to the dog meat trade. She was one of the lucky ones who got out just in time! Sam
I had a pretty rough start to my life… people have even said I was really close to being eaten as part of the illegal dog meat trade. Luckily, I got rescued before that happened. When they found me, my hair was all matted and I had knots everywhere! They took me to the groomer and got me all cleaned up and now I have some luscious locks! I never knew there were good people out there… but the groomer and my rescuers showed me otherwise. Now, I’m looking for a loving family to take me in and call me theirs! Another dog would help as I don’t really know how to “dog” just yet, but don’t worry, I’ll get there! read more
Hunter
Hunter arrived from overseas very scared and confused as to what was happening. It didn’t take him long to realize that this is the start of his new, amazing life! His first few weeks of freedom consisted of lots of tail wags, cuddles, a new found love of blankets, and most of all, in true beagle fashion, showed his love for food! His foster mom says he loves playing with his fur-sibling, but he is also more than happy to lay on the couch and cuddle! He is still searching for his furever home and someone to give his love to. Could you be his person? read more

Nigel
Hi, my name is Nigel!
My life has definitely not been the easiest… I was used in an illegal breeding ring for three years and almost sold into the dog meat trade. But since I’ve been rescued, I can’t believe everything I was missing out on: tennis balls, warm beds, getting treats for learning some cool tricks, and most importantly, a loving home! I’m eager to please and super smart --learning new tricks is my favorite. Between learning new tricks, you can find me cuddling on the couch! read more
Ryan
Ryan just flew in from overseas and is still a bit frightened from the experience. He is very sweet and day by day makes little improvements. Ryan is still shy so his favorite place to hang out is in the shady corner of his beautiful yard, where he sneakingly brings out all the toys his foster mom has given him. This little beagle even pulled a drawer open and starting chewing a shoe and then started howling, we think, because he was really proud of himself! Ryan’s still getting used to doors and sometimes needs to be carried through because he hasn’t figured it out yet! He’ll get there with patience, love and attention. read more

Frank
Frank as had a very interesting start to life. At only 2 years old, he’s been through more than anyone should. He was found in a cage, in front of a restaurant, waiting his turn to become someone’s dinner. Luckily, a kind bystander took him out of the cage and saved him before that could happen. He now has his whole life ahead of him! He is very friendly, but he’s still very submissive and timid, so a home with other sweet and friendly dogs would be the best fit for him. Can you picture his long ears flopping around your house? read more
