Bo was brought into the shelter as a stray after being found on the street. This sweet older fellow is suffering from kidney disease and arthritis and dental disease and seems to have some cataracts, too. We’re working with veterinarians now to diagnose his medical needs and get started on a treatment plan to get this loving boy feeling good. read more

Meet Colt! Colt is a 3-year old male purebred Beagle who has been rescued from an animal testing laboratory in South Korea. Colt has been in a foster home in Southern California for the past few weeks and has made considerable progress. Colt gets along with everyone - people and dogs! Chadwick was found on the highway dehydrated, malnourished and emaciated. This old gentleman, estimated to be about 14 years old, was also covered in flea, was suffering from anemia and tested positive for heartworms. Since Beagle Freedom Project rescued Chadwick, he has settled into his foster home and has already gained several pounds!
