Chadwick was found on the highway dehydrated, malnourished and emaciated.

This old gentleman, estimated to be about 14 years old, was also covered in flea, was suffering from anemia and tested positive for heartworms.

Since Beagle Freedom Project rescued Chadwick, he has settled into his foster home and has already gained several pounds!

Blood work has been done and medications started to get Chadwick in the best health to start his heartworm treatment.

X-rays were done to assess the extent of the heartworm and he’ll be starting his treatment soon.
Chadwick loves food and gentle walks and is a very chill and sweet fellow, fitting in wonderfully with his foster’s other dogs.
