Meet Rudy! Rudy was found hiding under a semi truck suffering from severe injuries to his shoulder and paw, apparently after being hit by a car. We knew we had to help this little guy - just 22 pounds! - and he is now on the mend with expert veterinary care and TLC. Rudy is a sweet, quiet fella who loves to lay in the sun. He’s a bit timid but warms up quickly to everyone. Rudy would also like you to know he loves chips and mashed potatoes. He’s a carb guy! read more

Little Tiny Dancer was brought into the shelter as a stray. The minute we saw her, we knew we had to spring her and find the perfect loving home for this sweet beauty. Tiny Dancer is living with several other little dogs at her foster’s home and gets along with them all very well. She’s a cuddler and loves to be held - she is just a sweetheart! read more

Can you believe this is the first couch Finn has ever slept on? After spending years in an animal testing facility, Finn finally gets to enjoy the comforts of home for the first time. Despite his past, Finn is a sweet, loving, laid back, happy guy. He loves to fetch, sniff in the yard and howl at fire trucks but mostly, Finn loves to lay on the couch and snuggle with people. Skye was rescued from animal testing in 2015 at about a year old. She lived a wonderful life with her human mom until she passed away recently. Skye is now looking for a new home filled with just as much love. She needs the companionship of other dogs and would ideally like to find a quiet, laid-back home. Roscoe is a handsome brindle boy and he knows it. He loves the ladies and loves a good snuggle with his foster mom. He is only 2 years old and loves playtime. After being in a shelter and then acquired by a laboratory for animal testing (a practice known as “pound seizure”), he’s learning how fun it is to play and be free. He is especially fond of toys and will happily play all day with a ball or stuffie. He would love a doggie sibling his size to play with and wrestle with too. His dream family would have a big toy box and a fenced yard for running and playing, but most importantly, they will understand that Roscoe has been through a lot and sometimes he still gets scared and nervous about new things so the one thing he wants most is a forever family to make him feel safe and loved.

Raphael was rescued from animal testing but shhhh - don’t remind him. He lives life to the fullest and has embraced freedom with exuberance and joy. He’s an adventurous boy who would love to be your companion for all of life’s adventures. Car Rides? Check. Hikes? Check. Playtime in the yard? Check. He’s a true beagle and loves to occasionally engage in beagle mischief to make you smile and is obsessed with mealtime. He also loves a good snuggle session at the end of the day. Meet Apple! Apple was rescued from animal testing in Mexico as part of BFP’s “Happily Ever Afters” Rescue. Apple loves being the center of attention and will squeeze her way in front of all her furry foster siblings to get love first, especially if it involves neck scratches and cuddle time! She has lots of energy and loves running around with the zoomies! She enjoys sunbathing, going for walks and to the dog park.
