Sweet and gentle 9-year-old Dexter was surrendered to the shelter when his owner passed away and his family encountered financial challenges.

Dexter just wants to curl up on a couch next to someone who will love him. He has lived with other dogs and gets along great, but he’s also very good just as the only furry fella in the home.

Dexter does have some arthritis so he won’t be going on any 10-mile-hikes, but if you’re looking for a gentle study or work-from-home buddy, he is your guy! BFP is working with a veterinarian to help Dexter with some skin allergies and his arthritis so he’ll be feeling his very best.
