I was in a horrible place in Mexico at an animal testing facility, but Beagle Freedom Project rescued me as a part of their “Happily Ever Afters” rescue and now I’m coming to California to live the life I was meant to lead as a princess. This is Bashful! Bashful was rescued from animal testing in Mexico as part of BFP’s “Happily Ever Afters” rescue. Bashful is not bashful at all - she is such a goof and playful puppy! She loves sunbathing, going on walks, and having toys to play with, especially if that means tug-of-war with her furry siblings. Bashful especially enjoys cuddling, and if you kneel down by her, she will hop on her hind legs and place her front paws on your shoulders for the best Bashful hugs anyone could ever ask for! Ronin was rescued from animal testing but he doesn't hold it against humans. He's around 2 years old and adores everyone around him. Ronin especially loves car rides and treats, and he never misses a chance to make new doggy friends. He alerts with a door bell when he needs to go potty - he learned this in less than 24 hours! read more

Brad Pittie was found in the woods very sick and newly blind. He was clearly an outdoor dog previously, as he was scared to even step off grass and onto hard floor surfaces at first. Since being in a loving home, he has blossomed. read more

Frosty is a loving, friendly boy. He was rescued from animal testing and has been through a lot, but he really has forgiven all. He wants to spend as much time with his human as possible and is very much a velcro dog. He will follow you anywhere you want to go. read more

Meet BEAR. Beagle Freedom Project rescued Bear in the nick of time from a high-kill shelter in southern California. Bear is approximately 4 years old but has the energy of a 1 year old. He is very sweet and playful, and is the smartest beagle around. He knows sit, down, and speak and loves to show off his tricks to anyone willing to watch. read more

Bagel spent FIVE YEARS being abused at an animal testing laboratory! The family that adopted her from the laboratory recently surrendered her to a shelter in Rhode Island and they reached out to us for assistance. read more

Winston is a victim of “pound seizure“, which is still legal in 32 states across the U.S, in which he was purchased from a shelter and sold to a laboratory facility. Winston was subject to cosmetic testing to his face and body resulting in burns and scars. read more
